Using Qt 3D Studio to Design Automotive Instrument Cluster Running on i.MX 8QuadMax

This talk starts off introducing the Qt 3D Studio and how it may be used to create feature rich instrument clusters. It also gives an overview of the upcoming i.MX 8QuadMax system on chip suitable to run cutting edge automotive applications. The second part concentrates on how the Qt 3D Studio can be used to design appealing UIs by authoring immersive 3D scenes and subsequently details the integration thereof within a regular QtQuick application. The third part covers our bring-up of Qt on the Apalis iMX8QM and concludes with the live demo we introduced at this years Embedded World exhibition.
